CONCERT
Ease into the week with Youtube sensation Daniela Andrade, who’ll be making her debut at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Center. The Canadian singer-songwriter gave us goosebumps with her raw-stripped down acoustic covers (and originals), which have amassed more than 300 million views and built a loyal international fanbase. She’ll be performing songs from her EP, Shore, and more. Oct 17

Enjoy a weekend exploring rare and uncommon wines while sitting in a Michelin star or a prestigious restaurant at Ewineasia.com‘s Wine Discovery Weekend. Try over 100 wines from more than 40 different wineries around the world at the Wine Discovery Walkabout Tasting event. Through Oct 17

EXHIBITION
One of highlights of the on-going Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is Li Zhensheng's "Witness: The Archive of Cultural Revolution", an exhibition that showcases over 80 of Li's images taken during the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution between 1966 to 1976. Through Oct 29

MARKET
Head over to Kult Gallery, where more than 20 artists will turn the space into a record store reminiscent of the 1982 American coming-of-age film, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Remixed album art, deconstructed vinyl and installations inspired by David Bowie will add to the 80s vibe. Through Oct 31

EXHIBITION
Learn more about the destinations that have made it to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list, which includes the Singapore Botanic Gardens, at the Exploring our World’s Heritage Exhibition. Take a trip around the world the exhibition brings you to nine countries in the span of a day. Through Nov 20

Immigrant Arts Exhibition

THEATRE
The Singapore production of Tony-award-winning musical Rent by Pangedmonium made headlines last month because of a same-sex kiss. Inspired by Puccini’s La Boheme, the story of Rent moves the action to New York City's Lower East Side, where a group of struggling artists strive and dream in the middle of the AIDS epidemic. Through Oct 23

EXHIBITION
A painting-focused group exhibition out at art studio and gallery Libitum on East Coast Road brings together painters who have emigrated from the former USSR. In Immigrant Arts Exhibition, expect bold colors and brushstrokes and dream-like imagery in this collection. The paintings will be available for purchase as well. Through Oct 30

MARKET
Have yourself a ball of a time and get your hands on handmade fabric bags from Tinta Shoppe, tableware and homewares from Amy Handmade Ceramics and other works from 30 different professional makers, and a whole bunch of tech demos and workshops at the inaugural Makers' Festival, held at The Centrepoint. Through Oct 30

EXHIBITION
Students from National University of Singapore's Division of Industrial Design explore the role of design in death with a myriad of projects that'll be displayed at the Death by Design exhibition in the National Design Centre. Through Oct 31

Erdinger's Oktoberfest

PARTY
Headquarters by The Council will be hosting Lars Vegas, who has been on the forefront of Amsterdam’s club scene (and is also one half of Detroit Swindle). Relish the night away to a medley of house tunes and modern electronic music. Oct 19

ART
This next edition of Dr Sketchy (since they moved to the new venue in Kallang) will feature Singapore’s queen of burlesque, Madge of Honor. Get your brush out and start sketching; things might start getting frisky. Oct 19

FESTIVAL
Erdinger's Oktoberfest is back for another cycle of limited edition brews and tasty bites. A highlight this year is the unique Erdinger Barcycle, which is basically a mobile bar counter that will roam around Suntec City this month and two other locations next month. Through Oct 28

THEATRE
One of Broadway and West End's most celebrated musicals has returned to our shores. The colorful fantasy world of Wicked tells the story of Wizard of Oz witches, Elphaba and Galinda, and their opposing outlooks. Get your tickets to enjoy this incredible production before the season ends. Through Oct 30

FESTIVAL
Universal Studios Singapore is pulling all the stops for its sixth edition of the Halloween Horror Nights, circling the central theme of familiar Singaporean folk tales such as the ghastly Pontianak and the creepy Old Changi Hospital, as well as other Asian and Western horror stories such as Japan's notorious Suicide Forest. Through Oct 31

EXHIBITION
Singapore-based Iranian artist Mojoko is showcasing over 20 new works at The General Co. Dubbed "Psycho Tropics", he mashes up images of Singapore's past, present and future and injects a dash of pop culture and iconic Singapore venues to show what it’s like living in this modern yet crazy city. Oct 20

DRINK
The Straits Wine Company's annual outdoor extravaganza is happening again in October. This year's Wine Fiesta has the theme Rising Roots, and will shine a spotlight on organic and sustainable wine producers from Adelaide Hills in Australia—along with nearly 70 other winemakers. Throughout Oct 23

EXHIBITION
The third installment of ION'S Art Photography Series will feature two local photographers, Aik Beng Chia and Mark Teo, who will showcase Singapore's streetscapes in their own respective and distinct styles. Through Oct 23

EXHIBITION
Part of the Singapore International Photography Festival, Daido Moriyama Prints and Books 1960s-1980s will making its debut at Deck. Be transported back to the past as Daido Moriyama’s (aka the father of street photography) photos show you a darker side of Japan between the 60s and 80s. Through Nov 13

These old school German rockers are still loving you. Scorpions are returning to Singapore after 15 years for their 50th anniversary tour, belting out famous anthems like "Wind of Change", "Rock You Like A Hurricane" and "No One Like You". Oct 21

Live out your dreams and produce your very own horror film by participating in this 48-hour film challenge. Get those brain juices flowing, and channel your inner Wes Craven or Alfred Hitchcock as you would have only 48 hours to write, direct and edit your short horror film. Oct 21-23

There’s a whole bunch of meat offerings from all around the world at The Carvery’s Great Meat Feast, with highlights like the Aomori rice beef from Japan, Cape Grim beef from Tasmania and a variety of roast chicken, pork knuckles and lamb.
