Muddy Murphy's Monday night open-mic show is back with more new comedians making their debut. Sit down with a pint and laugh the Monday blues away.

Participate in a yoga session at The Working Capitol. This Mindful Mondays session is a 60-minute Hatha Flow class with poses, breathing and meditation.

Nutmeg & Clove's guest bartender comes all the way from Sydney. The owner of cocktail bar Bulletin Place, Tim Phillips, shakes up fresh fruit-heavy cocktails, as well as your slew of classic cocktails for a one night-only guest shift.

Nosh on Kilo canapes like potato foam with sea urchin and scallop sashimi with white miso as you make your way through wines from Paco y Lola winery, beers by Estrella Galicia and ciders by Maeloc at Salud A Tasting of All Sorts

MUSIC
A seven man Singapore-based band comprising members from all over the world, Tropic Green fuses intricate rhythms, harmonies and lush melodies at this one night showcase at Artistry.

FILM
Local filmmaker Tzang Merwyn Tong releases Faeryville, a dystopian film about an outcast clique and their youthful idealism. All-out anarchy ensues when the pranksters fight back with stink bombs and homemade explosives.

CONCERT
Celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of French singer Edith Piaf is this all-local tribute, La Vie en Rose. There will be artists like Lim Kay Siu, Rani Singman and Leandra Leandre singing covers of her iconic songs.

ART
New York-based artist Charles Fazzino debuts his vibrant 3D pop art silkscreen series specially for Singapore. The Colors of SIngapore includes major landmarks like the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands, all depicted in bright colors and tons of detail.

COMEDY
Move over Russell Peters, Lilly Singh is in town. The Canadian funnywoman behind viral videos like "How Girls Get Ready" and "Types of Kids at School" is in town for her A Trip to Unicorn Island world tour.

DANCE
The acclaimed 55-member St. Petersburg Ballet performs Swan Lake for the first-time ever. Expect amazing sets and costumes on top of precise movements of the ballet dancers.

LITERARY
Bimonthly feminist book club led by the Singapor Committee for UN Women discusses The Left Hand of Darkness by the prolific Ursula LeGuin. It's a science fiction novel about a diplomat who is sent to a planet where people can choose their gender. 

SHOP
Local store Actually celebrates their ninth anniversary by launching their own label. They've also got musicians, fashion designers, photographers and artists to produce and design clothes and zines at their store.

EAT
Restaurant Ember teams up with Snorre seafood, a specialist in Norwegian seafood. Chef Sufian and Chef Markus have put together a special menu that showcases the best of Norwegian seafood with Ember's signature modern European flavors.

Fri, May 29

MUSIC
Local five-man band Hanging Up The Moon, which is made up of musicians like Sean Lam and Leslie Low, are launching their third album full of lush and layered vocals at this intimate concert.

FESTIVAL
The Singapore Open Media Art Festival teams up with Gillman Barracks for another edition of Art After Dark. This time, the three-day festival celebrates 40 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Korea and includes media installations, new art shows and performances by Chicks on Speed. 

ART
Korean-born artist Chun Kwang Young debuts 15 new pieces at his solo exhibition, New Dreams. He uses polystyrene foam packages wrapped in colored mulberry paper to create geometric prints.

PARTY
Red Baron hosts its first party, Kilowatt After Dark. This tiki night has lots of satay, fried chicken and craft beers and cocktails. Plus DJs Kostas and Adonis spin a mix of exotica, rare groove, Latin and reggae beats.
