FILM
Definitely one of the more interesting film festivals around, 100 Years of Mexican Cinema brings 12 Mexican films ranging from historical dramas to comedies. Today, there's A Woman In Love, a 1946 film about a woman who enchants a general during the Mexican Revolution.

WORKOUT
If your idea of beating the Monday blues is through a gruelling workout, then head to this Triple Threat Bootcamp. The Yoga Co mix things up with a blend of yoga, calisthenics, HIIT and gymnastics for a full-body all-out workout.

MUSICAL
Marking the debut of the newly-revamped Capitol Theatre is Singapura: The Musical, revolving around pre-independence Singapore and the everyday lives of people in the '50s and '60s.

DRINK
French wine bar O Batignolles hosts a wine tasting that showcases bottles of Domaine du Moulin, a winery in Gaillac known for its powerful and full-bodied wines. You'll be able to taste four different wines like a red reserve and the special red cuvee Florentin.

PARTY
The Singapura Dub Club takes over Caribbean restaurant and bar Lime House. It's a throwback to yesteryear with reggae tunes and a drumming session. Oh, and a vinyl pop-up shop.

MUSIC
Local fusion instrumental band Flame of the Forest (comprising brothers Krsna and Govin Tan) are bringing their sitars and tablas to Artistry tonight.

Wed, May 20

MUSIC
This year's Music Matters Live kicks off tonight with over 70 bands over four nights. There are acts like Coin Banks and Lion City Boy over at Refuge, while Clarke Quay serves as the main venue for more international acts at bars like China One and Beer Market.

LITERARY
Regular spoken word poetry night Speakeasy is back for the 20th edition featuring Marylyn Tan and Jollin Tan, both of whom are poets and writers. Expect another night of feminist and erotic poetry.

THEATER
Perfomance artists Eng Kai Er, Bernice Lee and Jereh Leong collaborate in Indulgence, a work where the artists can perform what comes to their minds, react to each other and emotionally connect to the cavernous space. The simple and industrial building 72-13 provides the backdrop of their improv presentation.

CONCERT
Owl City, or Adam Young, known for hits like "Fireflies" performs this one night-only concert where he'll be debuting new songs from his upcoming album that's set to launch in the summer.

ART
Singapore-based British photographer Richard Kearns' exhibition Smile opens today. He takes footage from CCTV cameras and live streaming websites and pastes in emoticons on the works.

FASHION
Now that the Capitol Piazza is fully functional, multi-label concept store Manifesto hosts an opening party where you'll be able to get a sneak peek into the latest collections from cool brands like Kitsune, Surface to Air and Christophe Lemaire.

PARTY
You know you're getting old when Zouk turns 24. To celebrate the anniversary in style, they've turned the entire club into one giant playground with music by District 0, Hong and Matthew.

MUSIC
Guitar virtuoso Paul Danial plays songs from his EP Age of Transition comprising genres like blues, rock, country and even a little bit of metal.

THEATER
Centered around a deaf boy, Tribes is a play the explores the sense of belonging, family and the limitations of communication.
