Fri, Apr 17

• Alex from Tokyo spins his signature house beats from his newest collaboration with partner Isao Kumano at Kyo.
• The spring edition of Affordable Art Fair kicks off today with more "affordable" artworks from $100 to $10,000.
• Going until the end of the month, this year's edition of the Singapore Chinese Film Festival has a lineup of films including It Takes Two to Tango and Good Morning Taipei.
• Photography-meets-artisan workshop, The Sew-Out Show showcases photographer Kevin Ou's light-based art that you can get made into pocket squares, bowties and totes.

Sat, Apr 18

• Local quintet Take Two launch their debut EP PAIRS with a concert and party.
• The Spiffy Dapper becomes home to a series of brunch events, Brunch Bandits World, where each weekend sees a different cultural cuisine on the tables. Today's menu is all about Turkish food.
• It's Record Store Day so head down to Ann Siang Hill's vinyl of the day event where you can swap vinyls while jamming to the playlist curated by fellow vinyl enthusiasts.
• PaperMarket hosts Paperfest where you'll get to design your own paper projects and do lots and arts and crafts.

Sun, Apr 19

• Book yourself a seat at Bincho's kooky Japanese food with sherry wine pairing. It may sound strange but we tried it, and it's delicious.
• It's the last day of Big Ohm Theory's second edition, complete with workshops like floral arrangement and Reiki.
• The Sunday at The Training Shed garden party series is back with music by Matteblacc, Spaced Out Disco Juice and the Sideshow boys. 
• Or head to Straits Records for Suka-Suka Sunday, a monthly market with street market vendors, coffee and cakes.
