Bukruk Music Festival

Jan 23-24, Bangkok Docklands, Charoenkrung Road. BTS Saphan Taksin
Kicking off the 10-day street art festival that will take over Bangrak is two stages of live music from an eclectic lineup that so far includes local bands Apartment Khunpa, Yellow Fang, Paradise Bangkok Molam Band, Gym & Swim, DCNXTR and more. They'll also be joined by international acts such as El Guincho (Spain), Alek Et Les Japonaises (Belgium), Dye (France, La Fine Equipe (France) and DJ Marine Caillat (France).

Some of the biggest names in the Thai music industry take the stage in this all-day celebration of local creativity. The line-up includes Apartment Khunpa, Somkiat, Young Man and the Sea, Sesse Mek, Mattnimare, Sundaydrive, the 38 Years Ago, My Life as Ali Thomas, The Parkinson, Moving and Cut, The Richmantoy, Polycat, Proud, T-Bone and GreasyCafe.

Gypsy Carnival

Feb 6-7, Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi
This new music and lifestyle festival  promises two days of art, food, camping, biking, shopping and plenty of music. Performing live throughout the festival are names including Hugo, Stamp, Pongsit Kampee, T-Bone, Soul After Six, Room 39, Thee Chaiyadej, Yellow Fang, DCNXTR, Shubostar, Messie Loe and Nina Catcher.

Rimpha Music Festival

Feb 6, Opposite Khao Yai Cowboy City Resort, Thanarat Road, Khao Yai
For its fourth year, this music festival brings together the biggest names across all genres of Thai music, including Slotmachine, Joey Boy, Singto Numchok, Scrubb, Tattoo Colour, Greasy Cafe, Musketeer, Polycat and Ten To Twelve to name a few, for an overnight festival across two stages. As usual, there'll be plenty of camping space and stalls selling clothes, food and drinks.

Hed Sod 3

Feb 13, Voice Space Hub of New Gens, Viphavadi-Rangsit Road 

The team from the online music zine is back for the third installement of the popular concert that brings bands from different genres and record labels together, this time featuring Aire, Gym and Swim, Soundlanding, Morningsurfers, Paradise Bangkok and Slur.

Stone Free Music Festival

Jan 16-17, Baan Khao Yai, Kanchanaburi
The three-day indie music camping festival was rescheduled from its original date due to problems with the local authorities in Saraburi. Instead, it will be heading back to its original venue in Kanchanaburi for plenty of outdoor music from a total of 56 bands, including the likes of Yellow Fang, Stylish Nonsense and Samurai Lord. Here’s to hoping that there are no more last-minute changes this time around.

Maya Music Fest

Feb 20, Maya Space, Pattaya
This festival combines traditional Thai art with huge names in the EDM scene including Tiesto, Dash Berlin, Don Diablo, Vicetone, DBSTF and AV21. They’ll be joined by local favorites artists including the likes of Thaitanium, Potato, Da Endorphine, Big Ass, 25 Hours and Cocktail.

Nang Len Festival

Feb 21, Suan Phueng, Rachaburi
This unique music festival focuses on inviting the country's vetetern bands and singers to cover classic Thai songs. Expect big names such as 25 Hours, Potato, Lipta, Singto Namchok, Aof Pongsak and many others put their own spin on songs we all know and love to sing along to.

Indieinspiration 2

Mar 19, Live House BKK, Kamphaengphet Road
After the success of its debut, the music festival returns with a seven-hour global indie music cover concert from the city’s favorite indie bands. So far announced to perform songs from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club and MGMT are Somkiat, Gramaphone Children and Cyndi Seui. If it’s anything like the first installment though, indie music lovers can expect names like Jelly Rocket, Wave and So, Gym and Swim and Fwends to also join the stage.
