In light of the recent Little India screening bust that got a man in trouble for placing his HDTV out of his terrace house window to allow others to watch the games, we bring you an updated list of places to catch the matches and be merry or wallow in misery. As the World Cup is fully in the heat of the knock-out rounds, throw back pints, yell at the screen and forever be on the edge of your seat with a bunch of fellow soccer addicts.

The Bank Bar + Bistro

You'll get to catch the action on large-screen TVs at this CBD haunt, which will be screening all 12am matches, games on June 15, and all matches starting from the quarter finals to finals.

Bar Bar Black Sheep

This affordable watering hole is casual, laid-back and comfortable, so no one's gonna judge you for turning up in your soccer jerseys, berms and flip flops. Plus, you can further fuel your World Cup excitement with Kronenbourg on tap for just $7.

The Chamber Bar & Bistro

This Robertson Walk is known for showing live matches on their huge projector screen in the courtyard. Last time we spotted some Japanese fans watching a game until the wee hours of the morning with a beer in hand. It may not be the fanciest, but it's certainly got the right atmosphere to relish (or anguish) in victories and losses.

FUSE

If you want the view and the game, head down to Marina Bay Sands' hotel restaurant to catch all the matches live. There'll be live entertainment before games (to perk you up, of course) and if that doesn't keep you awake, there's 25% off all food and drink orders between 2-9am.

Hard Rock Café

This popular Orchard hangout will be screening selected World Cup matches—it's probably best to call them in advance before heading down.

Harry's @ Esplanade

This venue usually caters to the more mature and sophisticated crowd working the area, and culture vultures, but we suspect that all sense of propriety and decorum will be lost when the games are on. Gooooaaaallll!

Hollandse Club

Dutch fans rejoice. Party with the Oranje at their World Cup headquarters in the country's club. They've opened screenings up to the public for the remainder of the World Cup and even have pre-match beer promos, traditional Dutch snacks, early-riser breakfasts and of course, the passionate Dutch fans.

Muddy Murphy's

Whenever there’s big game on, locals and visitors alike will gather around the old fashioned bar for a bit of good-natured rivalry, complete with impromptu renditions of team songs and chants. Find a detailed schedule of the world cup screenings here.

Pan Pacific Orchard

If you're in the Orchard/Tanglin vicinity, check into the hotel's Lobby Lounge to catch the games and stay awake with its special beer and bar grub menu, which includes bites like beef sliders, chicken tortillas and seafood platter. Beer fiends, get a free bottle with every five beers ordered. Plus, stand a chance to win a the official 2014 FIFA World Cup soccer ball when you're there cheering your favorite team in the quarter, semi and final matches.

The Penny Black Victorian London Club

This cozy pub gets especially packed and riotous when major sports events are shown on the screens, so expect to jostle with other hardcore soccer fanatics during live screenings of the World Cup.

Pint and Curries

Fancy Indian food washed down with ice cold craft beer while rooting for your team on the edge of your seat? Well, this place has got you covered. So order some tikka masala, a beer and get cozy for the long nights ahead. They will be screening all midnight matches live and the first half of sleepy 3am games.

Ricciotti

Even though Italy might be out of the running for the title, it doesn't mean that you can't get your Italian fix while you watch a little footy. Aside from their one-for-one beer promos, they have classic Italian offerings like prosciutto bruschetta, pizza breads and all types of pastas you could ever dream of. Even though they have three outlets, including The Star Vista and China Square, we prefer the laidback, riverside atmosphere of the Riverwalk branch.

Zouk

One of our favorite clubs have jumped on the bandwagon to offer screenings of World Cup matches at all their outlets. All matches will be broadcast on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while Tuesdays and Thursdays only show the midnight games.

SAFRA Yishun

North-dwellers, rejoice—you don't have to triapse all the way to town to catch the games for free, what with SAFRA Yishun promising to screen the matches.

Community clubs

Up for some grassroots bonding? Get together with the rest of your block and watch matches at community clubs all over Singapore (30 to be exact). There’s lots of places to consider, from the heartlands like Bedok to central locations like Toa Payoh. And if that’s not enough (really?), have some more fun during fringe activities like soccer-related contests. Visit www.pa.gov.sg for more details.

Cruises

If you somehow happen to be away on a cruise during the World Cup season (but how could you bear to?!), you'll be glad to hear that some of Princess Cruises' luxe ships will be televising World Cup Matches. Royal Caribbean will also be screening some matches, too.

Hong Lim Park

A park you ask? You heard us right. Food delivery company, foodpanda teams up with the Telok Ayer community to screen at least 50 of the 64 matches over the next month. They've even thoughtfully extended delivery hours to restaurants like Napolizz and Pastamania to fuel your midnight hunger pangs.
