After a number of false starts due to the Covid pandemic, The Standard will finally open its doors to visitors on July 29th, according to a social media announcement by The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon earlier today.

The luxury hotel will feature 155 rooms from 40 to 144 square meters, a penthouse, a terrace pool, fitness center, meeting rooms, and food and nightlife venues. This news follows the opening of The Standard’s sky-high Mexican restaurant, Ojo, on the 76th floor of the Mahanakhon building with food from Francisco “Paco” Ruano.

Other new food and drink venues include Sky Beach, The Parlor, The Standard Grill, Tease, and Mott 23.

Along with a hard date for the reopening, The Standard also stated that guests would get 25 percent off their rooms until February 2023.
