The passing of David Bowie yesterday has brought new attention to a little-known music video the legendary rocker shot during his brief time in Thailand. Here are nine more clips you may not know were filmed here.

David Bowie - Richochet (1983)

Bowie came to Bangkok in the final days of his 1983 Serious Moonlight Tour, where he shot this noir-ish video featuring his adventures slouching around in a go-go bar, hanging out on a boat and meeting with a shaman.

Spiller (feat. Sophie Ellis-Bextor) - Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) (2000)

The Italian DJ towers over crowded Bangkok streets as Ellis-Bextor sings wistfully, before the two are united at a heaving nightclub in the video for this turn-of-the-milennium dance hit.

Snoop Lion/Snoop Dogg (feat. Rita Ora) - Torn Apart (2013)

In which the recently renamed Snoop celebrated his new reggae sound by frolicking around Phuket amid performing elephants, Muay Thai fighters and traditional dancers.

Rudimental - Right Here (2013)

Shot at Kanchanaburi's controversial Tiger Temple, this vid tells the tale of a kung-fu hero fighting off poachers to a heavy drum n' bass soundtrack.

Rihanna - What Now (2013)

Yeah, we wouldn't have picked this vid of Riri going mental as being shot in Thailand if it wasn't for the accompanying behind-the-scenes vid. Anyway, the result is nowhere near as memorable that Tweet.

Dirty Beaches - Casino Lisboa (2013)

Footage from the Taiwanese-Canadian art-pop musician's, erm, challenging Bangkok gig gets spliced with gritty Bangkok street scenes.

Duke Dumont - I Got U (2014)

The British DJ's "virtual vacation" in Phuket was so popular it spawned a guide on how to live the dream yourself.

The Libertines - Gunga Din (2015)

Filmed on Walking Street Pattaya following frontman Pete Doherty's release from rehab, this comeback video for the British four-piece plays out like a deleted scene from The Hangover 2.

SHINee - View (2015)

In which the five lads of the prolific K-Pop band get kidnapped by a bunch of international models who force them to party. Poor, SHINee.

Girls' Generation - Party (2015)

The girls decamp to Koh Samui for a cutesy, candy-colored beach party.

UPDATE:

Bon Jovi - This Ain't A Love Song (1995)

Not sure how we missed this one, what with Jon Bon Jovi being in the news this week. The hair-rockers brave the heat in all-black at Wat Ratchaburana in Ayuthayya.
