Attention fabric lovers: The Thai Textile Society is organizing a study trip to explore a sophisticated history of Thai textiles in Chiang Mai during Feb 17-19. Not only will you’ll visit the precious textile collections at the bank of Thailand Museum and Museum of Chao Dara Rasmi, the prices consort of King Rama 5, you’ll also have a chance to inspect private collections of renowned collectors like Keosiri Everingham, Songsak Prangwatanakun, Akadet Nagbanlang and Anchalee Sripasang. The trip also packs in a visit to Chiang Mai National Museum, a weaving school and a number of temples.
