Seenspace Hua Hin has some exciting new tenants, most notably Virus Space and Cafe (081-668-7414, www.fb.com/virusspaceandcafe), run by none other than the reputed contemporary artist, and proud Hua Hin resident, Thaweesak “Lolay” Srithongdee and his artist wife, Prae.

This supposedly “anything creative” space operates as a gallery, workshop, screening room and music room. The cafe side of things is all about moka pot coffee, made with beans from Papae, Chiang Mai, roasted by Bangkok’s Brave Roasters—try the affogato (B100) or chocolate milk coffee (B95-100).

The first photo exhibition, “Particle of the Universe,” comes from young Thai artist Peduckk, known for her dreamy travel pictures on Instagram. It will show Sep 3-Nov 15. They are installing Dollar, one of Lolay's iconic sculptures in front of the space as well.

Opposite Virus is Dr. Doon Studio which sells vinyl records, turntables, plus music and art books. The real-life Dr. Doon, a self-professed music guru, wanders the premises discussion anything music-related with visitors.
