The faux-European-themed attractions just keep on coming. Inspired by the Italian city of Verona (perhaps best known as the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet), Verona Tub Lan (261 Moo 6, Bupharam, 081-377-6163, www.veronatublan.com) brings a cartoon-like country villa vibe to Northeastern Prachinburi province.  

Here, you can stroll through a scaled-down version of Castelvecchio Castle, watch shows at the mini Arena di Verona, pet farm animals, ride a gondola across the resort’s man-made canal and enjoy a romantic dinner at the Casa di Gilietta replica—complete with balcony, reminiscent of the Shakespearean play.

The park is open to the public every day, with an on-site hotel still in the works.
