After its annual closure for the rainy season due to environmental and safety measures, Phu Kradueng National Park has now reopened for public visits and camping—just in time to see the maple leaves turn red. Remember, there are new entry fees (B100 for Thai adults, B500 for foreigners), though. Bring your own tent, or select from a choice of lodges (B900-3,600) if you wish to stay overnight. And as the national park limits visitor numbers to 5,000 people per day, you might want to call ahead. Contact Phu Kradueng National Park, 042-871-333, 042-871-458, www.dnp.go.th; or TAT Loei, 042-812-812, 042-811-405, [email protected].
