NokScoot is launching direct Bangkok-Tokyo flights
More options for budget travelers.
The low-cost airline NokScoot (www.nokscoot.com) will launch direct flights between Bangkok and Tokyo starting this Jun 1.
The six-hour flight will depart from Don Mueang Airport daily at 02:20am and arrive at Narita at 10:25am, with return leg departing Tokyo at 1:55pm.
Expect return prices of around B12,280, which seems pretty consistent with fellow budget carriers Thai AirAsia X and parent company Scoot, but do note that these prices don't include airline fees, luggage or food.
NokScoot, a joint venture between Thailand's Nok Air and Singapore's Scoot, already flies to six China destinations (Dalian, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Tianjin, X’ian), Taipei in Taiwan and Singapore with plans to extend its routes further into north Asia in the coming years.
