Hard Rock has opened its first new Thai branch in five years: Hard Rock Cafe Koh Samui (077-901-208, goo.gl/BqOV6A).

Located amid the busy nightlife of Chaweng Beach, the new opening is exactly what you’d expect from the seasoned, rock ’n’ roll-themed chain. Indoors keeps things classic with long Chesterfield sofas and walls adorned with artworks and memorabilia featuring Taylor Swift, Madonna, The Beatles, Slash, Santana and Pearl Jam.

There’s an outdoor terrace complete with pool and a stage for live music. Food and drinks cover the usual American smokehouse fare, from hamburgers to slow-cooked ribs along with classic cocktails.

Hard Rock has already been around in Thailand for 25 years and has other branches in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket.
