We might have to wait until Apr 16 for rugby sevens fever to hit Singapore, but Hong Kong is gearing up for their leg of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series this weekend. To celebrate the 41st edition of the series’ flagship tournament, there is a new Rugby Sevens Bar Tram.

Plying the route from the Western Market Terminus in Sheung Wan to the Causeway Bay Terminus, the three open-top trams stop at major drinking spots in Central and Wan Chai. There will be 10 to 12 journeys each night from Apr 6 to 10. The service starts at 6pm from Western Market and at 7pm from Causeway Bay. Admission is free (no, you don't even need to flash a ticket or wristband to the tournament) and you get two free drinks of beer, soda or water. The rides are open to "bonafide" visitors to Hong Kong. That is, people staying for no longer than 90 days.
