The new fixed-price monthly pass aims to boost air travel within Southeast Asia and also lure foreign tourists.

Traveling around Southeast Asia on a budget seems to have been made easier thanks to AirAsia’s ASEAN pass, which lets you buy credits for one or two months’ worth of flights to other countries in the region.

Here's how it works: a 10-credit pass valid for 30 days costs B5,300 and a 20-credit pass valid for 60 days costs B9,300. Flights under two hours are worth one credit while flights over two hours are worth two credits. The pass can be used on more than 140 routes all across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.

But be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully before you hit checkout, though--that price doesn't include airport taxes and fees, and the pass doesn’t allow last-minute flights (you have to book 14 days in advance).
