If you missed the Thai Cheese Tour pop-up from Vivin in September at J’aime in Bangkok, you’ll get your next chance at Dusit Thani Hua Hin.
The Thai Cheese Tour from Vivin kicked off late last year, but for the rest of 2024, they’re on the road. Their first stop of 2024, will be Hua Hin on Jan 27, followed by Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Khao Yai.
Their pop-up in Hua Hin will be in collaboration with South American fusion restaurant Nomada and will be focused on local Thai produce combined with South American cooking techniques. For B1,900 per person, you’ll be spoiled for choice with a generous spread of more than 20 local Thai cheeses, artisanal and homemade cold cuts, and charcuterie. From Nomada’s side, there’ll be South American-inspired live surf and turf stations with signature dishes made to pair with the cheeses.
For drinks, the award-winning wines of GranMonte will be available throughout the evening, with a selection of popular and innovative new blends to accompany the cheese feast. The buffet will also include 1 glass of wine.
To top the night off, there’ll be a fire show and a live DJ to dance off your weight in cheese.
