Were you just sitting around the house wondering how you were going to celebrate the summer solstice in Sweden? Well, wonder no longer.

The Nordic fine food magicians are teaming up with the hi-so Soho House for a Midsummer Eve celebration this weekend featuring music, food, games, and the raising of the maypole for a Saturday solstice party.

This will be Soho House’s first out-of-shop collab since they opened on Sukhumvit Soi 31 earlier this year, and they’ll be curating workshops and a few on-the-house drinks (snaps).

The event kicks off on the 2nd floor of Villa Frantzen at 4pm on Saturday, featuring special a la carte dishes from the award-winning kitchen at Villa Frantzen, available for one night only.

Among the small bites, grab some salmon tartelettes (B245) or cauliflower chawanmushi and morels (B330) with yeasted mushroom tea, lime, toasted hay oil, lemon thyme, and split peas. For a main, on offer for the evening are the braised pork cheek and glazed beetroot (B595) and artichoke barigoule (B495).

To drink, the event will be offering up six special Midsummer cocktails, including a bottled Glad Midsommar meant to share as a group—but, hey, no judgement.

There will be two separate floral and herbalist workshops starting at 4pm, and starting at 5pm there will be games and beats by Mumsfilibaba and Sebastian de la Cruz.

The chic members club Soho House opened earlier this year taking over the space from Hotel Eugenia and boasting a three-story space complete with a bar lounge, pool, and restaurant, all designed by their global house interior designer team. Villa Frantzen opened in June of last year, creating an outpost for Björn Frantzén’s Michelin-starred resto legacy.

Soho House Membership is not required for the event, and workshop reservations can be made at reservations@villafrantzen.com.
