Thailand’s biggest international food and hospitality event returns next week
30,000 visitors and 450 exhibitors from 60 countries meet in Bangkok
One of Southeast Asia's largest platforms for the food and hospitality industry is the Food & Hotel Thailand (FHT) exhibition. So if you're in the business or interested in it, this is your gig. Now in its 27th year, FHT 2019 expects to see 30,000 visitors from 60 countries this Sep 4-7 across three BITEC exhibition halls in Bangna. The event will be about 20 percent larger than last year and will include 450 exhibitors from 30 countries, including large international pavilions designed by China, Denmark, Italy, Japan, Korea and the EU. Activities include conferences, competitions, seminars and skills training. The event will address new ideas and trends in both sectors, fresh food and drink offerings, technology and foodservice equipment, hospitality supplies, retail services and solutions and competitive differentiation. One major focus of the 2019 gathering will be the rapidly-growing demand for organic and sustainable products.
FHT 2019 will also host Thailand’s 25th International Culinary Cup (TICC); the Thailand National Latte Art Championship; the Thailand National Coffee in Good Spirits Championship; the 15th FBAT International Wine Challenge Awards and Wine Tasting; and a competition by Carpigiani Gelato University.
