SangSom, a brand synonymous with art and celebration, is launching SangSom MOONLAB, which is shaping up to be the year's biggest art event. Inspired by Thais' growing desire for public art spaces, MOONLAB will feature top artists over 10 days and nights, creating a landmark art experience.

The event’s organizers promise a sensory immersion unlike any other at SangSom MOONLAB, which is aiming to become the biggest and boldest art experience of the year. There, visitors will likely be captivated by immersive artworks, like one that involves stepping into another dimension in which every corner is Instagrammable, allowing them to capture unforgettable photographic memories.

In this inaugural edition, SangSom MOONLAB seeks to transcend the confines of a traditional art exhibition, catering to a diverse range of artistic sensibilities. There will be electrifying performances of renowned bands as they grace the stage. Visitors may also lose themselves in the captivating world of silent discos.

As visitors navigate the celestial landscape, they can discover an experience bar unlike any they've encountered before. Amid the enchanting atmosphere is a special collection of drinks, displayed like works of art and are perfect for photos.

Snaps under the moonlight

The showpiece of the event is definitely the immersive lunar installation art, which serves as a photogenic backdrop no matter which angle you choose to take a selfie from. The installation promotes the concept “Escape to the Moon,” conveying how one can escape from dull routines and unrequited love in order to party on the moon.

Another highlight of the event is the bar experience, showcasing special beverages that are all illuminated by artistic lighting. The lineup kicks off with indie darlings Safeplanet on March 22, followed in the subsequent evenings by the likes of Landokmai, Freehand, and Television Off. Last, but certainly not least, Anatomy Rabbit and Yented are going to round off the festivities on March 31.

Silent groovin’

People can also enter their own little world of sonic pleasures and grooves at the silent disco—the first at such an art festival. Each quiet reveler will be given their own pair of headphones, blaring the DJ’s set list from within. Lighting that is impeccably choreographed to the DJ’s tunes will surely elevate the experience, setting the stage for everyone to let loose and dance the night away.
