SO/ BANGKOK offers an amazing New Year celebration with delicious delights, exotic parties, and festive goodies
There is a lot to choose here
Tis the season to fulfill yourself with good food, enjoyable activities, and lit-as-hell parties before the start of 2020. SO/ BANGKOK is giving you a chance to do all three in one place with its The Golden Silhouette party—a fancy event with a lineup of New Year celebrations ranging from festive meals at Red Oven and Park Society, high tea from MIXO, along with pool and rooftop parties to start 2020 with a bang.
Food wise, Red Oven is rolling out a New Year’s Eve dinner buffet with a wide range of international cuisines rolled all together (Japanese, Italian, French, and Thai) at B4,500. There’s a free-flow beverage package for an additional B1,100 that includes cocktails, beer and a selection of wine. If you want to get real New Years-y, then the free-flow Champagne offering is B2,500 (also includes beer and the like listed above). If you are more into the multi-course, tasting menu side of things, Park Society has a six-course NYE dinner (B7,000) that comes loaded with premium ingredients like foie gras terrine, wagyu beef, oysters, sea urchin, caviar and a glass of Champagne. It’s B10,000 if you want wine pairings on top of all that.
If a high-energy pool party is more your speed, there are a couple going on over the coming days, like SO Pool Party X Chandon Edition on Dec 28 from 1pm-9pm (B700/person include 1 drink), and The Water Club: Countdown by the Pool (B1,500/person includes free-flow soft drinks) with live DJs hitting the decks on Dec 31 to the morning of Jan 1.
There is also the Sky-High Countdown at the HI-SO rooftop with a spectacular view of the Bangkok skyline, along with free-flow cocktails, beers, wine, and tasty canapes like foie gras torchon on a walnut brioche, and yellowfin tuna cubes with wasabi and dill sauce. That package will set you back B5,500/person or B10,000 if want to go the luxurious route with unlimited Champagne. Private party options at HI-SO are also available (B120,000/15 people) with free-flow soft drinks, cocktails, beers, wine, a canape buffet, and personal butler (yes!)
Want the festive vibes to last a little longer? Opt for the New Year’s Day feast at Red Oven. Running from 12pm-4pm on Jan 1, enjoy a lush array of seafood and succulent imported meat at B1,300/person. Additional free flow beverage package (B1,100/person) is available, as well asa cooking class for your little ones to play chef and stay still while you sip on some aromatic wines.
