Jimmy Carr to perform two stand-up shows in Bangkok next week
Be prepared for deadpan delivery, guilt-inducing giggles and heckler interaction.
After a successful visit back in 2016, British stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr will return to Bangkok on Mar 29 as part of his "The Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits World Tour."
Due to high demand, The Comedy Club has announced that Carr will play two shows in one night, at 8pm and 10:30pm.
The British comedian shot to fame back in the '00s as presenter of Channel 4's annual The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and the ever-popular UK panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats, which in 2012 was turned into an equally successful spin-off/mashup, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, in which the beloved daytime geek-fest Countdown is treated to Carr's signature brand of hilariously offensive humor.
Carr often touches on controversial topics that leave audiences cringing and laughing in equal measure. Be prepared for deadpan delivery, guilt-inducing giggles and heckler interaction—opt for a front row seat (B3,500) to be part of the action.
The Grand Ballroom, The Westin Grande, 259 Sukhumvit Soi 19, 02-207-8000. Tickets from B1,800 at www.comedyclubbangkok.com.
