Hit British comedian Phill Jupitus is coming to Bangkok
The former "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" panelist is a born storyteller.
On Saturday, May 4, British actor, poet, radio DJ and comedian Phill Jupitus is coming to Bangkok.
He is best known for his prominent role as team captain on comedy panel game, Never Mind the Buzzcocks—a position he held throughout the show’s 18-year run. The much loved British program was notorious for its dry, sarcastic humor, scathing attacks, and tongue-in-cheek approach to topical issues. Other regulars on the panel included Bill Bailey, Noel Fielding and Dermot O’Leary.
He is also a regular face on the preeminent comedy panel show QI alongside Alan Davies, former host Stephen Fry and current host Sandi Toksvig.
Jupitus is prone to hilarious storytelling based on the chaos of his own life, delivering adult topics in a childish and very relatable manner. His observational style of humor perfectly balances moments of silence with comic outbursts for laugh-inducing effect.
May 4, 8pm. The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, 259 Sukhumvit Rd., 02 207 8000. Early bird tickets B800 via Ticketflap/ Standard B1,000/ VIP B1,800.
