Here are Bangkok’s best delivery-only options for food
There’s never been a better time.
Delivery is all the rage right now, but these restaurants were sending orders to your door long before it was pretty much necessary to do it. Here are some of Bangkok’s OG delivery-only restaurants.
After spending months in Italy learning to make pizza, Gallery Pizza’s Italian-American co-owner/chef Shane Greene brought back his recipe of 72-hour fermented pizza crust to Bangkok, and we are all grateful for it. You can start from basics like the margherita (B265), while meatier creations like the New Yorker (American pepperoni, Italian sausage, tomato sauce, black olives and mozzarella) come in at B385 (currently they're offering two pizzas for B499). The menu also includes a selection of carefully chosen wines, starting at B520 (available for delivery). Both Sathorn and Ekkamai location are open for delivery until 4am in curfew-free times, so don’t be afraid if you’re starving in the middle of the night.

Big on flavor, Pizza Mania is one of our favorite pizza delivery joints. Their pizzas are wholesome and toppings unpretentious. If you’re feeling Italian, go for the Rustica (B410), or the spicy pad grapao (B385) if you want to take your tastebuds for a ride. They’re quite generous on the cheese and seasonings, too, which makes their pizzas perfect with a beer or Coke on a lazy Sunday.

Golden Bowl delivers a British take on the sizzling, sweet yet spicy Chinese food you wouldn’t typically find in Thailand. Expect to find classics like duck pancake with Peking sauce (B205) and salt and chili chicken (B165), or you can relish in the spicy chili French fries (B120), deep-fried prawn toast (B195) or battered chicken balls in sweet and sour sauce (B160), our pick of the bunch for more Western-influenced flavors.

The Supanniga group now has a delivery service in the form of Sood Kua, where they offer a line-up of Supanniga-style dishes based on their roasted salt and chili mix, commonly found in the eastern Thai province of Trat, and rarely found in Bangkok restaurants. Their highlight dish is the crab roe with chili and salt on rice (B185), followed by the squid roe with chili and salt on rice (B175). Simpler alternatives include pork with chili and salt on rice (B105), and prawn with chili and salt on rice (B185).
How to order: Visit their website, official Line account (@supanniga) or Facebook page, or call 02-714-7608. Also available on Grabfood and Lineman.
Paleo Robbie has been up and running since 2012, and they offer some of Bangkok’s healthiest delivery options. Expect no flour, sugar or highly-processed oils—just simple, antibiotic-free meat like the Canterbury prime steer ribeye (B299/steak), fish like the wild sockeye salmon fillet (B975/filet) and lots of veggies, including organic dino kale (B110/pack). Ready-made meals are available, too, such as the Mediterranean grilled chicken salad (B299) and the chicken schnitzel (B299).

Urban Pantry has an extensive range of bread from sourdough to rye bread and wholewheat. Go for the very savory and slightly tart rocket and parmesan sourdough (B160), or you can get other fillings in sourdough, such as sundried tomato and garlic (B150) and traditional white (B130). They also do specialty breads like New York deli-style rye bread (B140) and rosemary and olive batard (B150). Zuni zucchini pickles (B189 for 500ml) and the marinated eggplants with mint and capers (B179 for 500ml) should be your go-to pantry options.

Le Lapin specializes in delivering made-to-order sandwiches. Start by choosing from two types of bread (baguette or sliced) and then, you’ll have the freedom of adding any number of toppings, such as chicken curry (B90-135), beef meatballs (B120-180) and tuna wasabi (B90-135). Vegetarians need not to worry, as you can order vegetables and marinara sauce (B90-135) as well as a couple of salad options. If you want to go low on the carbs, they do iceberg sandwiches, wrapped only in lettuce, with zero bread. But yeah... we’d rather have them come with bread, please.
