In the wake of Thailand’s medical cannabis legalization, two festivals are here to celebrate the biggest day of the year for smokers.

On Apr 20. Highland, the team who has been fighting for marijuana legalization, will throw their fifth annual Thailand 420 event at Kingdom of Art and Music (Rom Klao Rd., 093-635-2939), this year offering free entry.

In tandem, the guys behind Blaq Lyte will be hosting their own three-day cannabis festival titled Pan Buriram at Buriram’s Chang International Circuit (444 Moo 15, Buriram, 093-838-3331) from Apr 19-21, headlined by Swedish rapper Yung Lean. Tickets are B420 for one day or B1,000 for three days at www.allticket.com.

Both events will have medical professionals giving talks about the pros and cons of cannabis.
