First Bangkok LGBT+ Film Festival set for July
Eliciting tears of sorrow and joy, these movies are the perfect way to top off Pride Month.
In honor of LGBT+ Pride Month, Sala Daeng's best-loved indie cinema, The Bangkok Screening Room, will be celebrating "diversity, creativity and strength" with its LGBT+ Film Festival.
From Jul 3-8, eight films will be showcased, including The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Tom of Finland; BPM (Beats Per Minute); Hard Paint and more. The event will also feature talks from two LGBT Thai directors, Anucha Boonyawattana (Malila: The Farewell Flower) and Tanwarin Sukkhapisit (It Gets Better, Insects in the Backyard), and an art exhibition based around the issues of marriage equality and equal opportunity.
All LGBT+ film tickets are available now at BKKSR, with an exclusive discount of 15-percent when you buy three tickets or more.
