Chill by the lake at Bangkok's new indie rock music festival
Especially for fans of Australian surf-punk.
Seems Bangkok can't get enough outdoor music festivals, but the latest have tended to center on techno and hip-hop. Live music fans can thank promoter and local artist management team Wildest Youth for trying to change that with their Pink Cloud Festival taking place on May 25 at Thai Wake Park.
Headlining the festival are Australian surf-punk bands Dune Rats and Hockey Dad, plus America's Turnover. They'll be joined on the day by local talents Srirajah Rockers and Death of Heather, with more acts to be announced. Check the full line-up here.
The lineup is not the only thing the festival has going for it. Thai Wake Park is also a great location for outdoor music festivals, offering watersport activities like wakeboarding to keep you entertained and plenty of outdoor space to go wild and explore.
Tickets are B2,300 pre-sale and available at Eventpop.
