Tons of food, chef showcase and good music

Singha’s recurring food festival, Singha Food Fest, is back for round three this weekend from Nov 30 – Dec 2, this time at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. The event follows the same winning formula as the other Singha Food Fests – tons of street food and a couple of gimmicks like some chef showcases on specific days – focusing on a chill, food first atmosphere with some quality tunes to keep the vibes going.

This go around, about 44 restaurants will be taking part, most of them street food vendors. The big change from the last event food wise is that the portions have been tweaked. Everything comes in tasting portions to allow guests to hover around and try a bit of everything. The vendors run the gamut of styles and flavors, with highlights being the returning Kinza Gyoza, Grill 63 Degrees, Wow Chabu Pizza and the likes of Tiny Balls Ice Cream and Fei Ya.

Musically, Singha Food Fest is pulling in some bigger names in Thai pop music (if that’s your thing), like Bel Supol, Mild, Pause, Stamp, Playground and Getsunova. Kolour Showcase is also joining the fray with a DJ Zone if you want things to get a little more dancy (they are also hosting a Road to Kolour in the Park event on Dec 1, so definitely join that if you want a chance to snag tickets).

On that same day, celebrity chefs Tam and Art, from Top Chef Thailand fame, will go head-to-head in a chef showcase.

Check out more on the event's Facebook page.
