Somboon Hormtientong represented Thailand at the 57th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.

This Apr 19 - Jun 19, abstract Thai artist Somboon Hormtientong presents his latest exhibition, "A Painting Exhibition with No Title," at PT Gallery, the exhibition space of P. Tendercool furniture company.

One of Thailand's most well-recognized living artists, Somboon represented Thailand at the 57th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia with his pieces in “Krung Thep Bangkok.”

Educated in Munich, Germany, the artist now resides in Bangkok, where he continues to produce paintings in his expressive, organic and minimal style.  

On display at PT Gallery will be 13 works of art dated between 2012-2017 that were specifically selected by Somboon, including three charcoal drawings shown at the last Venice Biennale.

PT Gallery, located on Charoenkrung, is a showroom-slash-gallery that showcases P.Tendercool's bespoke furniture and regularly organizes expositions by various artists: paintings, photography and mixed media.

"A Painting Exhibition with No Title" will be held in  collaboration with Numthong Sae Tang, Numthong gallery at Aree, which is hosting a concurrent exhibtion until Apr 30th.
