From Aug 7-13, Central Embassy is host to one of the biggest food festivals of the year: The World in One Bite. The event is so massive it spans from the mall’s 2nd-to-5th floors and includes everything from food stalls to exclusive meals by some of Bangkok’s biggest names in food.

Here are some reasons why it’s a must-visit:

Over 100 food stalls

Where: Levels 2-5

When: Aug 7-13

What: The event’s pop-up food zone is worth the price of admission here. Over 100 vendors from around the city, boasting a huge range of Thai and international cuisines, will fill the space with the smells and tastes of the world’s great global flavors. It’s the perfect time to be adventurous and try something new.

A taste from TV stars

Where: Level 2, The Balcony

When: Aug 11-12, 3-4pm

What: Two of Thailand's famous TV chefs, Dissakul “Tum” Prasitruangsuk on Saturday and Tanapat “First” Suyao on Sunday, will offer exclusive, free, tasting events for the first 100 diners. If you have ever wondered how good the food is on those TV shows, now is your chance.

Charity Celebrity Cook-in

Where: Level 2, The Balcony

When: Aug 12-12, 11am-12pm

What: Two of Thailand’s rising teen TV stars, “Great” Sapol & his mum and “New” and “Tay”, will demonstrate their cooking skills live and offer free samples for guests. Great and his mum will prepare Iced Valrhona Cacao from from Letar Coffee Bar, while New and Tay will whip up their famous flavor of somtam from restaurant Somtam Nua. Have a taste and donate to a very good cause.

Just for Mum

Where: Level 2, The Balcony

When: Aug 12

What: Spend B500 anywhere at Central Embassy & Central Chidlom to earn your mum the perfect keepsake on Mother’s Day—a photo magnet of the big day.
