Bangkok International Performing Arts Meeting (BIPAM)

From Oct 16-20, BIPAM will bring a series of performances to Bangkok. On Oct 18-19, In Ter's View x New Cambodian Artists (Saeng-Arun Art and Culture Center, 114/1 N Sathon Rd.) sees a Thai director and all-female contemporary dance group, New Cambodian Artists (NCA), collaborate, while Violent Event ˟ (Oct 18-19, 8pm. Hostbkk Dance Studio, Chan Phen Restaurant, 4/F, Rama IV Rd.) sees two young German directors lead a raw choreography showcase in which dancers will role-play perpetrators and victims of violence. On Oct 18-20, enter a dark circus with Damage Joy by Nana Dakin (7pm. Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), 939 Rama I Rd.), where four clowns willingly to do bad things to make you laugh, while on Oct 19, Made in UNI (8pm. Alliance française de Bangkok, 179 Witthayu Rd.) comprises two art perforamces by local students, exploring the imagination of visually impaired children and the painful effects of war on women.
