Root Garden will be holding a new market every second and last Sunday of the month through till the end of the year. At Root Market, expect live acoustic sounds, urban gardening workshops and a small range of vendors offering fresh produce and organic snacks from 1-7pm. The next one’s scheduled for Mar 8.

OLD TOWN ART
Fans of the old town, drop by Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Centre every weekend from now through Mar 22 for a stroll around the outdoor Art Market right outside the gallery. There’ll be art workshops, a small selection of snack stalls, and handmade products as well as live cultural performances. This weekend (Mar 7-8), highlights include Little Red Riding Hood: Break a Leg by Dee-ng Theatre, Kayum Kayim Town by Makhampom, Thai opera by the Fine Arts Department (Mar 7) and a Traditional Thai dance and music performance by the Department of Cultural Promotion (Mar 8).

There’s a new mall near Thonglor,
9:53 Art Mall, specializing in vintage furniture and artwork. This weekend (Mar 7-8) it plays host to a two-day market filled with art, design, fashion and handmade crafts. There’ll also be a canvas painting booth by
Paintbar Bangkok, and a mini concert by indie acts Gardener Twins, Fwends, Aire and Yellow Fang, followed from 10pm onwards by an after-party. The markets starts at 11am each morning.
