Crowd-funded local label raises $30,000 for debut collection
Everybody loves a good story.
New local, crowd-funded label Gnome & Bow makes swag, functional bags inspired by timeless stories and fairytales, but they are far from kiddish.
Proof that it’s already counting legion of fans: the brand has managed to raise $30,000 in three weeks to start its production run, and it has already begun. For its debut collection, which consists a briefcase, backpack, duffel bag and other small accessories, founder Quanda Ong delves into the tale of The Hare and the Flying Tortoise, with quirky details like a start and finish line as well as thumbnail-sized hare and tortoise embossed on leather embellishments.
Prices start from $45 upwards; buy Gnome & Bow's storytelling bags via its web-store.
