US brand John Varvatos sees rock n’ roll and sartorial menswear strut their stuff hand in hand. This first flagship store here in Thailand carries the latest spring/summer 2014 collection, which sees a timeless rock star style manifest itself in a line of sheepskin leather jackets (B87,950) and tailored threebuttoned suits (B71,790). Inspired by his love of superheroes, Varvatos’ new fall/winter 2014 collection, meanwhile, twists the rock n’ roll concept with the addition of silver accessories and embellishments. From the raven-like black overcoat to embellished silver toggles (available in September), everything here is stylishly glammed up.

 

Another brand toeing a minimal style, A.P.C., or Atelier de Production et de Création, rolls out casual, ready-to-wear clothing. The brainchild of Tunisian-Jewish Paris-based designer Jean Touitou, the brand is best known for its range of raw denim (available in July) coming with various washing and fading techniques that render them unique. A.P.C.’s other street-wear staples incorporate graphics and patterns, like the leopard pattern pullover (B7,790), floral button-down shortsleeved shirt (B8,890) and Judith printed tee (B4,890) from the spring/summer 2014 collection.

 

Martin Margiela may keep a low profile, but his French fashion house is anything but, covering everything from avantgarde fashion through to furniture. The brand’s spring/summer 2014 collection blends masculinity with femininity in pieces like the classic trousers paired with corset embroidered belt, which evokes the glam of 90s showgirls.

 

This Italian fashion house delivers on the glitz and glam with its spring/summer 2014 collection, featuring metallic silver and python print. Must-haves include the beaded chiffon dresses, python-print pants and silver leather jackets. Cavalli’s fall/winter 2014 collection sees even more leather, but this time topped with fur and tweed.

 

Menswear brand Thom Browne’s spring/summer 2014 collection rolls out a military theme in items like brass button blazers and hooded blazer-style jackets. Fall/winter takes on an animal kingdom theme but will hit the store in September.

The coming- soon fall 2014 collection blends oriental and bohemian style with the emphasis on layering and oversized clothing.
