Eastern Bangkok is about to get a massive new shopping destination, with Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok scheduled to open on Jun 19.

The new development, a joint venture between Siam Piwat and US-based Simon Property Group, occupies 150 rai just 10 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi Airport, with a total retail space of 50,000 sq meters. It is set to welcome more than 145 local and international brands—some of which are only available at the outlet—and offer up to 70 percent off hot-ticket goods from brands like Burberry, Balenciaga, Bally, Coach, Hugo Boss, Kate Spade, Montblanc, Nike and Adidas, as well as Eveandboy and Jim Thompson.

On top of these brick-and-mortar stores, the outlet space boasts an array of restaurants, a 1,200-sq-meter Food Republic, a VIP lounge, an indoor and outdoor kids’ playground, and other recreational and entertainment spots. Michael Tang, managing director of Siam Piwat Simon Co., Ltd., said that the outlet plans to partner with other nearby attractions to further enhance the appeal of the area as a major destination for locals and tourists.

Siam Piwat is the developer of several major Bangkok landmarks, including Siam Paragon and IconSiam, while Simon Property Group has spearheaded some of the most luxurious outlet malls around the world, including Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in New York City, Gotemba Premium Outlets in Japan, Yeoju Premium Outlets in South Korea and Johor Premium Outlets in Malaysia. The project marks the first arrival of the three planned premium outlets from the giant mall conglomerate.
