One of our favorite 1920s-style bistros is getting a new cocktail menu and more live jazz sessions.

We love Gatsby-style CBD bistro The Black Swan as much as anyone else. (Our oyster- and negroni-fueled nights out there are the stuff of office legend... and awkward mornings after.)

So we couldn't be more pleased that they've just upped their cocktail game via an almost-total revamp of the menu, with the help of bartender Julian Serna. We can't wait to try out adventurous creations like the B.B. King ($19) with banana-infused whiskey, smoked maple syrup and even barbecue bitters, and the Salty Sea Dog ($19), a Caribbean-influenced drink with rum, ginger syrup and orgeat.

Alongside new cocktails, The Black Swan's upstairs bar The Powder Room is also worth a revisit to catch Tuesday night jazz regulars The Steve Mcqueens. They're gearing up for their upcoming album launch and will perform a string of new songs alongside tracks from their EP Einstein Moments.
