Not sure where to head this V Day? There's a little something for everyone: from new couples to over-the-top affairs where you may just get a ring at the end of the night.
Feb 13-14: A fun-filled and easy night of beer and some beef fillet with garlic mashed potatoes. Oh, and before we forget there are also freshly-shucked oysters (sexy!) and ahi tuna tartare, too. $120 per couple.
Feb 9-15: The cheery restaurant has prepped an easy three-course affair involving Lady and the Tramp-esque spaghetti with lobster and a meat-lovers aged sirloin steak with truffles. What we really love is the dessert plank: chockful of tiramisu, chocolate brownies, profiteroles and pavlova. $88 per person.
Feb 14: It's got impressive views, and the three-course dinner here is pretty refined with dishes of braised lamb osso buco, cheese and truffle torteli and venison carpaccio. But it's a microbrewery after all, so it won't get too intense. Plus, they've got two special Champagne and beer-themed cocktails made with their signature microbrews. $98 per person.
Feb 14: The fun and happy hour-friendly Luke Mangan restaurant has a four-course dinner of squid ink linguine, seared lobsters with edamame and truffle salsa, and wagyu beef cheeks--just to name a few. $98 per person.
Feb 14: This one's a little hearty. Work your way through charcuterie like duck rillette and smoked eel before tackling grilled pork with lavender petals and salmon with sweet peas and bacon. The wine's extra, btw. $168 per couple.
Feb 14: Emmanuel Stroobant whips up a menu full of risotto with red snapper tempura and a decidedly pink Pain Perdu with strawberries, grilled foie gras and beetroots. $138-$158 per person.
Feb 14: We're not exactly sure whether we want to follow Chef Simone and his wife's romantic journey, but that is the theme of the four-course Italian dinner here, which admittedly still sounds pretty delicious: cognac-marinated scallops, pasta with langoustines in a Champagne reduction and the signature lobster with ricotta and ragout. $138 per person or $158 with wine pairing.
Feb 14: The pretty black-and-white gets transformed into a garden complete with seafood platters, grilled lobster with caviar and rib of beef. There's also free-flow Champagne for that extra dose of love. $250 per couple.
Feb 11-16: No one can deny that the views are impressive and the place romantic. The V-Day menu includes more pan-Asian delights like salmon tataki, foie gras with baby squid and shiso flower fried rice. $168 per person.
Feb 14: The steakhouse goes all out with a five-course dinner where you also nab some mystery gifts. In true prime rib tradition, there's the restaurant's signature roasted prime rib of beef, as well as rosemary lamb loin and crab risotto with crab bisque. Plus, each guest gets a bottle of Bottega prosecco. From $138 per person.
Feb 14: With six courses that include everything from oysters amuse-bouche to the homemade taglierni pasta with scampi and wagyu beef tenderloin, we can already tell this one's going to be super indulgent. Pick the courtyard seats for an extra dose of romance. $148.
Feb 13-14: This one's OTT just 'cos of the great views of Marina Bay Promenade and alfresco dining options. We're already sold on the salt-crusted whole seabass--not many can get this simple, but addictive recipe right. $180 per couple.
Feb 14: 50th floor views, decadent steaks, a swanky location, what more can we say? Did we mention they have good steaks? Tuck into cuts of Canadian tenderloin with basil potato gnocchi, scallops and foie gras and crispy pork belly. $108 to $138.
Feb 14: W Hotel's steak restaurant is pretty damn indulgent. The five-course meal has spiced tuna with raspberry chocolate tea, cured duck with orange aero (yeah, we're not sure what "aero" is too) and sirloin with chocolate and cherries. $298 per couple.
Feb 14: Japanese restraint is undeniable if you need something low-key but decadent. The six-course dinner has oysters, Hokkaido uni, winter sashimi platters and the much-loved charcoal-grilled A4 Ohmi ribeye steak. You also get to bring home sake cups. $188 per person.
Feb 14: Tucked away in the picturesque Botanic Gardens, the four-course dinner has a little Asian flair and includes wagyu beef bavette with Chinese roots and monkfish with saffron emulsion. $250 or $370 per couple paired with wines at the communal seats; $300 or $420 per couple paired with wines at private table.
Feb 13-14: What better getaway than a Sentosa dinner overlooking the serene golf courses? On the menu are dishes like lobster knuckle salad, pasta with crab and asparagus and the decadent beef tenderloin with goose liver. $158 per person.
Feb 14: The newly-revamped restaurant is great for a quiet, intimate dinner. Chef Sufian's prepared ocean trout tartare, pan-seared scallops with ponzu butter and his signature braised shortribs with onion puree. $228 or $258 per couple with Champagne.
