Part of Villa Frantzen’s Wine and Dine series, Daniel Twardowski and Brad Hickey of Brash Higgins will be serving pinot noir,  amphora-fermented reds, and two surprise wines they’re claiming can’t be had elsewhere.

The event on Jul 25 will kick off at the luxe Villa Frantzen in Yen Akat, the brainchild of Swedish chef Björn Frantzén—the three-star Michelin chef behind the eponymous restaurant empire the Frantzén Group—and featuring Nordic cuisine from chef Nilas Corneliussen. For the evening, the two winemakers will share the stories behind the provenance of the wine.

Featuring five courses, seven classes, and the two surprise wines, the one-night-only dinner called “Terroir Without Borders” goes for B7,900, and is held in collaboration with Villa's sommelier, Jochen Sandkuhl. Taking over the space of a two-storey house on Soi Yen Akat and converting it into two Nordic-style villas, Villa Frantzén is complete with a lush green garden.

The special wine event starts at 6:30pm with an aperitif from the bar–reason enough to visit Villa Frantzen, as it’s a startlingly good cocktail bar with signatures taking a nod from Nordic cuisine with Asian ingredients.
