Kicking off this week, here are four events to mark in your calendar.

Le Petit Zinc Yen Akart will be hosting a dinner, Apr 3-4, courtesy of Chef Raphael Kinimo, who’s got some previous experience working in restaurants like Gordon Ramsay and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. Kick off the seven-course journey (B1,990) with crayfish carpaccio with horseradish cream, herb biscuit and sea-flavor cold smoke before you tuck into pan-seared scallops with apricot puree, lemon and lemongrass paste.

The two-day event will be held at Roots (between Ekkamai Soi 15 and 17, 088-190-5950) from Apr 19-20 (9am-12pm) and you’ll be lectured on the history of coffee, coffee processing, home brewing, drip coffee, cupping and so much more. They're only taking 15 people and it’s B3,500 per person. More details about payment at tinyurl.com/p9m2rkj.
