Two Noma veterans are joining forces for this collaboration dinner
Expect two nights of Scandinavian, Japanese and Thai flavors.
This Aug 16-17, Gaa's (Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants no.16) Garima Arora will welcome Thomas Frebel to the kitchen for a special collaboration.
The two share experience working at Copenhagen's Noma, where chef Thomas was staioned for over 10 years both as a chef and as part of the research and development team. After getting a taste for Japan while working at a Noma pop-up, he vowed to return and is now the chef and co-owner of Tokyo-based Inua, where seasonal Japanese ingredients meet Scandinavian techniques.
Though the menu for the collaboration is yet to be revealed, we've heard it will feature street food-inspired dishes that are sure to encompass Scandinavian, Japanese and Thai flavors. The dinner is priced at B4,200 with optional wine and non-alcohol pairing.
