You may have tried Stax burgers at the short-lived Saphan 55 in Thonglor before Covid hit and they moved to an online delivery-only set up for the past few years. Now, they’ve opened a new, permanent location for the burger joint where you can sit and dine in, and it’s just a five-minute walk from BTS Asoke.

 

From the burger masterminds behind Daniel Thaiger, the eats here take a bit of a lighter approach compared to its sister brand. The classic burger (pork or beef patty, dill pickle, onion, ketchup, and mustard) starts at B130, and a set of two burgers plus fries will set you back only B240 (less than the cost of a single burger at many other places).

 

Apart from the classic, you can also choose from a fried chicken burger with ranch or spicy mayo, a buffalo chicken burger, or a “Wild West” burger with jalapeno peppers, a thick onion ring, and barbecue sauce.

 

For those of you who remember the old Daniel Thaiger spot in Asoke that also opened right before the pandemic ruined dine-in for most of the world, the new Stax location takes over that same spot.
