Bangkok’s F&B scene has never been more competitive than it is now. As one of the most visited and cosmopolitan cities in the world, the scene here is always changing and open to new concepts. The scene is vibrant and energetic, showcasing the best culinary and drink cultures from across Thailand and the world. Octo Seafood Bar, Sukhumvit’s latest social house, is built around the ideals of Bangkok’s food scene. Just like the city is a melting pot of opportunities and people, Octo is an awesome restaurant, bar and club all rolled into one.

Designed by renowned Thai architect Tanakorn Kaocharoenpong, whose previous work includes Demo Nightclub in Thonglor, Happy Fish and Kodang Talay at Asiatique, the 2,000-square-meter space features a massive octopus sculpture in its foyer and a 4x12-meter “Iron Bar” in the middle of the hall. Here, they serve an international selection of cocktails and beverages from around the world. While these two elements make up the most visually impactful parts of the space, they are also are the centerpieces to which all the venue’s other elements are anchored. On the right of the Iron Bar is the “Salumeria Zone” where you can find all manner of European cold cuts, pizzas, soups, sandwiches and cheese in a grab-and-go setting. On the left side of the bar is the “Ceviche Bar Zone” offering South American dishes that highlight Octo’s world-class seafood, all of which go great with tequila, pickled vegetables and spicy salads. Next is the “Sushi Zone” (AKA “Cutts”), which highlights some of the best sushi and sashimi money can buy.

Those in the drinking mood will love Dr. Fetch, a chic bar/club that hosts live DJs and musicians—on top of a killer mixology team whipping up some of the best cocktails in town. But there is more. Octo also includes its own built-in speakeasy bar intentionally hidden from view to encourage customers to adventure around the space looking for it. Recently, the brand also collaborated with high-end wine shop ‘The Godfather’ to open a sophisticated rooftop wine corner.

No matter what you are looking for in Bangkok’s cosmopolitan food scene, you can find it at Octo Seafood Bar. It’s an unforgettable place, built for unforgettable experiences.
