Les Amis takes over Scotts Road once again
After months of renovations, the Les Amis row of restaurants are finally open again. And, it includes a brand new pastry store too.
Scotts Road and Shaw Centre have officially been taken over by Les Amis, again. After a month-long renovation, the flagship fine dining restaurant Les Amis is back in action.
One of the major highlights from this street-wide renovation is the group's new takeaway concept, Tarte by Cheryl Koh. Baked daily by the Les Amis' pastry chef, there are tons of sweet treats like mini eclairs, tarts and carolines. Everything's based off French recipes, with flavors ranging from cacao berry with Venezuelan dark chocolate to milk chocolate with crunch feuilletine and caramel-coated hazelnuts. Plus, you can bring the tarts to the next door Caveau Bar to pair with your afternoon cuppa.
Speaking of Caveau Bar, it also recently emerged from a facelift and now functions as a coffee joint by day and sultry wine bar by night. It uses coffee beans by local favorites Nylon Coffee Roasters and also offers an extensive wine list with over 200 labels of boutique wines that are sourced from France and includes names like Thibault Liger-Belair and Chateau Smith Haut Lafite. And if you're not a wine person, they also stock a range of single malt whiskeys, too.
