Buritara Riverfest offers a less crammed spot to enjoy dinner next to the Chao Phraya river
The perk of being nearby the crowded banks of Chao Phraya river isn’t just escaping from the madding heat (it’s usually a few degrees lower there), but you can also take delight in a scenic setting which provides a romantic backdrop for any occasion. While there’s plenty of hotels that can be easy choices for your riverside dinner, these places are not necessarily light on your wallet. We don’t think good things always require a big budget. Nestled down a less crowded hood in Rama 3, Buritara Riverfest qualifies the upscale choice with a price everyone can afford.
The interior comes replete with warm wood furnishing—littered with colorful cushions, decorative wine bottles and tropical touches. All of which do an admirable job of creating a pleasant ambience. The outdoor portion, however, is the star here as you can lay back on the sofa bed or head to the Sunset Bar where you can enjoy the majestic views of Chao Phraya river while sipping their signature cocktails like Buritara Mojito (B250)—a more refreshing version of mojito thanks to a wide range of berries—or Fruit Salad Daiquiri (B270) for your next instagram materials.
A great scenery is lost unless you have a big portion of food to share. Here, you can stop your hunger pangs with hearty platters like the deep-fried sea bass with black pepper and garlic (B570)—another signature dish whose skin comes crispy while packing a springy meat inside. Seafood lovers can enjoy the seafood hormok (B250)—a curry fish custard loaded with freshly-picked herbs and ocean delicacies—which is served inside a coconut shell.
The 30 labels of wine sitting inside the venue aren’t just for show either. Thanks to its cold room, which ensures the perfect temperature, you basically have everything you need for the ultimate food feast. Buritara Riverfest also has its own craft beer, so make sure to order a couple of rounds to wash down the great food.
