Sweet and savory bagels for the office crowd.
Opening in February, Two Men Bagel in Bangkok is never going to want for foot traffic in Bangkok, found on the very office worker heavy street of Yommarat alley just opposite Samrub Samrub Thai.

Boasting five shops in Singapore, Two Men Bagel House set up its first shop in 2014, and the new space in Bangkok is one for casual dining, some pretty great hip-hop, shakes, and sweet and savory fresh bagel concoctions.

Folks who take their bagels seriously will be pleased to know that they’re going well beyond your average breakfast bagel. They have a list of Bangkok Signatures, such as the Pig Fly (B260), which is a pork jowl bagel filled with four strips of meat, cheddar, dripping egg, and ponzu chili jam along with red onion and jalapeno. It’s hearty, messy, and just a little bit sweet.

The Bangkok Signatures are only found at this location, and the others include the sous vide chicken breast The Lee (B240) with pineapple and laoganma and the Bang It (B250) with Gai Yang chicken thigh featuring a green papaya slaw in Thai namjin sauce.

But, they’ve also got the classics. The basic Becky (B230) is a simple bacon with scrambled egg, spicy ketchup, cheddar, and spring onion. We recommend eating in, as the steaming egg really gives this some weight. You’ll also find bagels mixing avocado and bacon, chickpea salad with honey, and grilled steak with gojuchang marmalade. Bagel options include everything, plain, sesame, blueberry, cheddar and jalapeno, onion and garlic, and poppy seed.

But, if you’re looking to take on their sweet schmears, don’t miss their coconut pandan bagel (60 baht), which is only available at the Bangkok location. Top it up with some coconut vanilla cream cheese.

Their drinks menu features an array of teas and coffees, but do give their PB (peanut butter) shake a try, made with Skippy peanut butter to order. They also have avocado and berry smoothies.

The space is a large one with a lot of natural light and a busy cooking station where you can watch your bagels being crafted. The design is kitschy but can double as an early spot to get some work done too.
