One of Bangkok’s finest and most authentic Italian pizzerias, Peppina has garnered a well-deserved reputation in the Bangkok (and international) food scene. Now, they are expanding their pizza horizons to the upcoming Emsphere.

Panetti is the latest creation from the award-winning minds behind Peppina. Located in the long-awaited Emsphere complex—alongside giants like Ikea, AEG show venue, and a vibrant shopping center—the new pizzeria is expected to open its doors this December.

Panetti will be located on the ground floor and is an intimate 14-seater. Guests can be seated around the bar counter with a direct view of the open kitchen, and the pizza oven is imported from Italy—nothing less from these Neapolitan pizza pros. The restaurant’s design is by the talented MTM Design team, known for their work on establishments like the new Mod Kaew, Birdies, Fatboy Izakaya, and El Willy. Expect a light, crisp, and modern ambiance with bright lighting and accents of red.

Now let’s get to the food. Like Peppina, their artisanal pizzas are crafted with the utmost care, using thoroughly sourced ingredients and a strong commitment to supporting small-scale, organic, and ethically-minded farmers and producers in Thailand.

Appetizers will include classic Italian fritti such as olive all’ascolana, which is fried olives stuffed with sausage meat and lightly fried zucchini blossoms filled with mozzarella. Their salads, such as the Rapa Rossa, features salt-roasted beetroot, pomelo, perilla seeds, chickpeas, and goat's cheese.

Their pizza menu will evolve with the seasons, celebrating the bounty of local ingredients like spicy Yunnan sausage, served atop a pizza with charred eggplant, San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, and homemade Nam Prik Noom sauce. Alternatively, there's the fiddlehead ferns that are paired with smoked pancetta, creamy taleggio, fior di latte, and a sprinkle of cracked black pepper.

They’ll have a short but appealing beverage selection featuring light and refreshing cocktails, perfect after a strenuous shopping trip at Emsphere. Try the Bacio, which is a concoction of rose wine, homemade strawberry and basil cordial, fresh citrus, and effervescent soda. Additionally, they’ll offer a curated assortment of premium Italian and Thai beers, as well as an array of organic, biodynamic, and natural wines available by the glass, carafe, or bottle.
