A new, intriguing restaurant opens its doors in property hotspot Ari. Tanyamama (10/27 Soi Ratchakru [Phahon Yothin Soi 5], 02-617-3950. Open Mon-Sat 11am-10pm) is sourcing organic ingredients for a fusion menu, with dishes like pad thai with lobster (B220), yakisoba with scallops (B180) and the unusual-sounding Hokkaido scallop with lotus root tempura and jellyfish salad (B250). They also do Western pastries and desserts. All this in a neat intepretation of the New York style that’s currently so hot: exposed brick, long black couches and black and white diamond tiles.
