A far cry from dainty tea and crumpets, the Erawan Tea Room (Grand Hyatt Erawan, 494 Ratchadamri Rd., 02-250-7777) is doing a promotion on iconic northern Thai dishes. Expect classics like that herby sausage dish, sai oua, the currilicious noodle soup, khao soi gai and gaeng hung lay, a pork curry flavored with tamarind. Prices start at around B150, which is a steal. But you better hurry as it only lasts till May 31.
