Stop everything, a new pizza joint has opened its doors. The Aglio Store, originally started in 2021 as a renowned sauce brand, launched its restaurant in mid-September within the Degree Square Project.

The eatery has a Nordic-inspired interior, designed with minimalist warm white hues and light brown wood accents. The glass house is high and transparent, illuminated during the day with natural light. The shop layout combines group tables and sharing tables, giving off chic cafeteria vibes.

For mains, they focus on Neapolitan-style pizza, known for its softer, fluffier dough compared to its Roman-style cousin. Yet, what sets the store apart are its unconventional toppings such as the mentaiko ikura (B450), which is a fusion of Japanese flavors consisting of salt-cured roe of Alaskan pollock, cream, butter, and parmesan. The result? One word: umami.

For a more creamy white base, opt for the carbonara pizza (B380) or the supreme truffle champignon (B390) for the vegetarians. For an off-menu treat, try the homemade sun-dried tomatoes, burrata, and homemade pesto.

For starters, try their sliced sourdough served with caramelized onion butter (B160) or burrata (B320). For mains, like their pies, their pastas are made in-house too. Don't miss their pesto pasta—a nostalgic treat for longtime fans of The Aglio sauce store, known for their crowd-pleasing pesto. And don’t forget to pair it all with their fun wine list, from a variety of different fruits like pear, orange, or lychee honey, starting from B340 a glass.

Before you go all HAM on the dough eats and epic toppings, you should save some room for dessert. Either the basque cheesecake (B180) or the refreshing milk ice cream (B80).
