Ashley Sutton, the man behind Iron Fairies, Fat Gut’z and Clouds, has unveiled yet another quirky venture. This time forgoing the dark, industrial décor, Mr. Jones’ Orphanage (G/F SeenSpace, 251/1 Thonglor Soi 13, Bangkok, 02-185-2378) somehow combines elements of country kitchen, Catholic church, attic and Santa’s workshop. While they do serve brunch, the focus is firmly on baked sweets, including intriguingly named treats like Chocky Mud Pie (B135) and Custard Cow’s Poo (B120).
